Position Overview
We are seeking a creative, strategic, and highly engaging Social Media Manager / Content Creator to build, manage, and scale our digital footprint. The ideal candidate must be passionate about social media, agriculture, technology, and Africa.
This role is ideal for someone who knows how to create content that not only sparks engagement but also builds community and drives brand presence.
Key Responsibilities
Cultivating Our Digital Presence
Develop and execute a robust social media strategy across key platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant Nigerian/African platforms).
Plan and manage a structured social media content calendar aligned with business and marketing goals.
Content Creation
Create culturally relevant, engaging, and high-quality text, image, graphics, and video content.
Share insightful agricultural content, farming tips, product information, and industry updates.
Community Management
Monitor platforms daily, respond to messages, comments, and inquiries promptly.
Build and nurture a vibrant online community of farmers, partners, and consumers.
Performance & Analytics
Track and analyze social media insights and performance metrics.
Prepare periodic reports and recommend strategies for continuous improvement.
Brand Identity & Voice
Maintain a consistent, professional, and authentic brand tone across all channels.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years proven experience as a Social Media Manager, Handler, or similar role (preferably in Agriculture, FMCG, or B2B sector).
Strong understanding of Nigerian and African social media trends.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (additional Nigerian languages is a plus).
Ability to create visually appealing and engaging content.
Proficiency with social media management tools and analytics platforms.
Experience with Adobe Photoshop or other graphics design tools.
Basic video editing skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Genuine passion for Nigerian agriculture and its socioeconomic impact.
