Are you an experienced HSE professional with a passion for training and safety excellence?
Cardinal Namdini Mining Ltd. (A Shandong Gold Company) is looking for a dedicated Training Officer – Health, Safety & Environment to join our team at the Namdini Site in Bolgatanga.
As we work toward building a world-class gold mining enterprise in the Upper East Region of Ghana, this role is critical in ensuring our employees, contractors, and visitors meet the highest HSE standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and deliver engaging HSE training sessions (onboarding, hazard communication, defensive driving, etc.).
Customize training content to address site-specific risks.
Ensure compliance with local, national, and international HSE regulations.
Evaluate training effectiveness and maintain accurate HSE records.
What We’re Looking For:
✅ Education: Degree in Health & Safety, Environmental Management, or related Engineering/Physical Sciences.
✅ Certifications: HSE Officer’s certificate of competence from the Minerals Commission (Must-have), NEBOSH International Certificate, and ‘Workplace Trainer and Assessor’ certification.
✅ Experience: Minimum 3 years in the extractive/mine construction industry and 3 years of teaching/training experience.
✅ Skills: In-depth knowledge of Ghana mining laws, ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 14001:2015.
