Job Summary
Golden Coast Developers is seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Construction to lead and oversee all construction projects within our development portfolio. The role involves managing the full construction lifecycle for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments while ensuring delivery to the highest standards of quality, safety, timelines, and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of residential, commercial, and mixed-use construction projects.
- Manage internal teams, contractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure quality, safety, timelines, and budget compliance.
- Oversee project budgets, cost control, procurement strategies, and value engineering initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, building codes, quality standards, and health & safety requirements.
- Collaborate with development, design, finance, legal, and sales teams to align construction delivery with business objectives.
- Monitor project performance and prepare regular reports for executive management.
- Mentor and develop construction teams to promote high performance and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in construction management, with proven senior leadership exposure.
- Strong experience managing large-scale residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects.
- Solid understanding of construction methodologies, contract administration, cost control, and project governance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, quality, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Professional certifications will be an added advantage.
