Job Summary
Africa Global Logistics (AGL) Ghana is seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Sales Executive to lead revenue growth through new business development, strategic sales planning, and strong client relationship management. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of the transport and logistics industry, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with company objectives
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and market research
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations for potential customers
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve or exceed sales targets
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and performance updates for management
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with business goals
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and promptly resolve escalated issues
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is an added advantage)
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in sales, preferably within the transport and logistics sector
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
