About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Officer – Legal Support Services to support the growth, market penetration, and revenue generation of our Legal Support Services practice.
This role focuses on identifying, developing, and converting business opportunities for legal support services provided to law firms, corporate organisations, and external partners, particularly at the intersection of law, cybersecurity, data protection, regulatory compliance, and technology risk.
The ideal candidate will combine strong commercial acumen with an understanding of professional services, consulting environments, and regulatory or technology-driven industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for legal support and advisory services
- Develop and manage client relationships with law firms, corporate organisations, and strategic partners
- Support market entry and expansion strategies for legal, cybersecurity, and compliance-related services
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and pitches tailored to client needs
- Collaborate with internal legal, technical, and consulting teams to deliver client-focused solutions
- Track market trends, regulatory developments, and emerging risks relevant to legal support services
- Meet or exceed revenue targets and contribute to overall business growth
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline
- Minimum of five (5) years’ industry-specific experience (e.g. technology, consulting, B2B services)
- At least three (3) years’ experience in business development, consulting, professional services, legal services, or regulatory advisory environments
- Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, and close B2B business opportunities
- Knowledge or professional exposure to Law, IT, Cybersecurity, Data Protection, or Regulatory Compliance is highly recommended
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
