We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Draughtsman to join our architectural and construction team in Accra, Ghana. The ideal candidate must have completed at least two years of Draughtsmanship training. A BSc in Architecture will be considered an added advantage.
This role is ideal for professionals passionate about architectural design, technical drawings, and construction documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with the architectural team to clearly understand project briefs and design requirements
- Gather and interpret technical information for project execution
- Prepare, review, and verify technical drawings to ensure compliance with design standards and specifications
- Revise technical drafts based on recommendations from project architects
- Produce architectural and technical drawings, including 3D models, at various scales and levels of detail
- Ensure accuracy, attention to detail, and adherence to deadlines
- Visit project sites for inspection and verification when required
- Collaborate effectively within a team and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
- Completion of a Draughtsmanship Course (minimum 2 years)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other related 2D/3D visualization software
- Strong experience in producing scaled construction drawings, shop drawings, and detailed architectural drawings
- Experience compiling data for architectural plans, specifications, and quantity estimates
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Salary & Benefits
- GHS 5,000 – GHS 7,000 per month
