Job Overview
We are seeking a highly driven and experienced LPG Operations Manager to lead last-mile distribution for one of Ghana’s rapidly growing LPG brands. This role is central to delivering a seamless customer experience by ensuring LPG cylinders, stoves, and refills reach homes and businesses safely, efficiently, and on time.
The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments and brings strong expertise in logistics, fleet management, safety compliance, and operational leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end last-mile LPG distribution operations
- Oversee fleet operations, route planning, and driver performance
- Manage warehouses, depots, and inventory control
- Ensure strict compliance with LPG safety standards, regulatory requirements, and operational SOPs
- Implement and monitor health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and service partners
- Optimize delivery efficiency, turnaround time, and cost control
- Supervise customer service touchpoints to ensure excellent service delivery
- Analyze operational data and drive continuous process improvement
- Recruit, train, and lead high-performing operations teams
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Logistics, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
- Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in operations or logistics, preferably in LPG, oil & gas, FMCG, or last-mile distribution
- Strong understanding of fleet management and safety compliance
- Proven leadership and people management skills
- Experience managing warehouses and distribution centers
- Excellent problem-solving, planning, and execution skills
- Ability to thrive in a high-impact, fast-moving environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
