Job Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Relationship Manager – Business Banking to join our Nkawkaw Branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of Business Banking clients by delivering a full range of banking products and services, strengthening long-term relationships, and driving profitability while managing credit and risk exposures.
This role serves as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and plays a critical role in customer retention, business growth, and cross-selling opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a full suite of banking products and services to Business Banking clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Serve as the first point of contact for assigned Business Banking customers.
- Manage client relationships while operating within approved credit and account authority limits.
- Identify and pursue cross-selling and up-selling opportunities to maximize client value and bank profitability.
- Monitor client performance, credit quality, and risk exposure in line with bank policies.
- Develop and maintain long-term strategic relationships with business clients.
- Support business growth initiatives through proactive client engagement and portfolio management.
- Prepare, analyze, and present financial and business data to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree (required).

- Minimum 5 years’ banking experience, preferably within a Business Banking environment.

- Solid credit analysis and credit management skills.
- Understanding of business mission, strategy, and market performance implications.
- Knowledge of banking operating practices and regulatory requirements.
Managerial & Leadership Skills
- Strong relationship management principles and practices.
- Team planning, goal structuring, and coordination skills.
- Experience working in high-level or client-facing management roles.
Specialist Banking Knowledge
- In-depth knowledge of banking and financial services products for corporate and business clients.
- Understanding of product mechanisms, client benefits, limitations, and profitability.
- Ability to leverage product knowledge to develop long-term, profitable client relationships.
Communication & Relationship Management Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to explain and interpret financial data clearly to clients and senior stakeholders.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and business case development skills.
- Ability to analyze and communicate management information and research findings effectively.
