Christie Brown, a leading fashion and luxury retail brand, is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Human Resource Manager to oversee and drive all HR functions across the organization. The ideal candidate will play a key role in shaping people strategy, strengthening company culture, and ensuring compliance with HR best practices.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
1. HR Strategy and Planning
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives
- Collaborate with senior management to identify HR priorities, trends, and workforce needs
- Provide guidance on organizational structure, workforce planning, and talent management
2. Recruitment and Talent Acquisition
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand talent requirements
- Build strong relationships with recruitment agencies, universities, and industry networks to attract top talent
3. Performance Management and Development
- Design and implement performance management systems including goal setting and appraisals
- Support managers with performance improvement, coaching, and employee development plans
- Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development programs
4. Employee Relations and Engagement
- Serve as a trusted HR advisor to employees and management
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture
- Handle employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and manage conflict resolution in line with labor laws
5. Compensation and Benefits
- Administer compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and internal equity
- Conduct salary reviews, benchmarking, and market analysis
- Stay updated on industry trends and recommend improvements to reward systems
6. HR Operations and Compliance
- Oversee HR operations including payroll, benefits administration, HRIS, and record keeping
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, HR policies, and regulatory requirements
- Develop, review, and implement HR policies, procedures, and guidelines
🎓 Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Master’s degree is an added advantage
- Professional HR certification is an advantage
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar role, preferably within the fashion or luxury retail industry
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and best practices
- Demonstrated experience in recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and organizational development
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Proficiency in HR systems and HR-related software
