Ahabamono Impact is seeking a proactive and mission-driven Operating Officer (Part-Time) to support operational excellence, project coordination, and organizational growth.

Job Title: Operating Officer
Contract Type: Part-time Independent Contractor
Initial Contract: 3 months (renewable based on performance)
Commitment: Up to 14 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Project Coordination

Oversee and support day-to-day operational activities
Coordinate implementation of renewable energy projects
Ensure timelines, deliverables, and reporting requirements are met

Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement

Build and maintain collaborations with partners and stakeholders
Support grant development and donor compliance activities
Facilitate communication between internal teams and external contributors

Organizational Support

Assist with budgeting, reporting, and performance tracking
Contribute to systems improvement and workflow optimization
Support leadership with administrative and strategic priorities

Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Development Studies, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience supporting operations or project management in NGOs, social enterprises, or development-focused organizations
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within remote teams
Interest in renewable energy, sustainability, or social impact initiatives
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
