The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining guest rooms, corridors, and assigned public areas according to the hotel’s luxury standards. Key Responsibilities
Room Cleaning & Preparation
- Clean assigned guest rooms according to hotel standards
- Make beds, dust furniture, and vacuum carpets
- Replenish guest room and bathroom supplies
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms thoroughly
- Provide turndown service as required
- Handle late check-out and special service requests
Inspection & Reporting
- Check that all room items are in proper working condition
- Report maintenance issues promptly to the Supervisor
- Update room status and report discrepancies to Order Taker
- Record important notes on assignment sheets
- Report lost and found items immediately
Public Areas & Equipment
- Clean corridors and public areas near assigned rooms
- Maintain cleanliness of housekeeping equipment and pantries
- Safely push and manage the room attendant cart
- Help control usage of guest and cleaning supplies
Guest Service
- Respond to guest requests in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide items such as extra towels when needed
- Escalate complex guest concerns to the appropriate team
- Maintain strong knowledge of hotel products and services
Requirements & Qualifications
- High School or Vocational School Certificate
- Minimum 2 years housekeeping experience (preferably in a five-star hotel)
- Strong attention to detail
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Flexible work schedule availability
- Physical ability to clean up to 15 rooms per day
- Ability to push and pull housekeeping cart
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong ability to follow instructions and standards
