Key Responsibilities
Strategic Account Development
- Design and execute account growth strategies for modern trade, institutional, and corporate customers.
- Expand market share and optimize revenue performance within key retail and hospitality partners.
- Identify and onboard new strategic retail partnerships.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build strong, long-term partnerships with key trade clients.
- Lead negotiations on pricing, promotions, contracts, and shelf positioning.
- Conduct structured business reviews and performance evaluations with customers.
Trade Execution & Merchandising
- Ensure superior product availability, shelf presence, and merchandising compliance.
- Drive in-store promotions, brand activations, and new product launches.
- Implement effective point-of-sale marketing initiatives.
Sales Performance & Analytics
- Track sales performance against targets and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Analyze sales data, market insights, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
- Develop accurate demand forecasts and sales projections.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with Marketing, Supply Chain, Distribution, and Finance teams to optimize execution.
- Ensure timely product delivery and minimize stock shortages.
- Align promotional strategies with broader brand campaigns.
Budget & Investment Management
- Manage promotional budgets, discounts, and trade investments efficiently.
- Monitor ROI and ensure strong financial discipline.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure adherence to company policies, contractual agreements, and safety standards.
- Prepare periodic performance, market intelligence, and strategic recommendation reports.
Requirements & Qualifications
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Social Sciences
- MBA (Marketing option) or CIM qualification is an added advantage
Experience
- Minimum of 3–5 years senior-level experience in Sales & Marketing
- At least 2 years’ experience within FMCG operations
- Proven background in modern trade, key accounts, or channel sales
