Job Title: Accounts Manager

Key Responsibilities
Accounting Operations Management
- Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and reconciliations
- Supervise daily accounting activities and ensure timely processing of transactions
- Monitor cash flow, bank transactions, and petty cash controls
- Ensure accurate postings within the accounting system
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
- Ensure compliance with Ghana Revenue Authority requirements (VAT, PAYE, Corporate Tax, SSNIT)
- Coordinate internal and external audits
Budgeting & Financial Analysis
- Support annual budgeting and financial forecasting processes
- Conduct variance analysis (actual vs. forecast)
- Provide periodic financial reports and insights to senior management
- Monitor financial trends and recommend corrective actions
Team Leadership & Coordination
- Train, mentor, and supervise accounting staff
- Collaborate with HR, procurement, and project teams
- Strengthen internal control systems and compliance frameworks
- Ensure proper documentation and record keeping
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional certification (ACCA, ICA Ghana, CIMA, or CPA) preferred
- Minimum 5 years progressive accounting experience
- At least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial position
- Strong knowledge of Ghanaian tax laws and statutory compliance
- Experience in audit coordination (internal and external)
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Experience in real estate, construction, or property development is an advantage
