    A well-established and expanding real estate and property development company is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to oversee its accounting operations in Ghana.

    In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial activities, ensuring accurate reporting, maintaining regulatory compliance, and strengthening internal controls. You will provide strategic financial support to senior leadership while supervising the accounting team to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with Ghanaian financial regulations.

    Job Title: Accounts Manager
    Department: Finance & Accounting
    Location: Accra, Greater Accra Region, Ghana
    Contract Type: Permanent / Full-time
    Work Schedule: Full-time

    Key Responsibilities

    Accounting Operations Management

    • Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and reconciliations
    • Supervise daily accounting activities and ensure timely processing of transactions
    • Monitor cash flow, bank transactions, and petty cash controls
    • Ensure accurate postings within the accounting system

    Financial Reporting & Compliance

    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
    • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
    • Ensure compliance with Ghana Revenue Authority requirements (VAT, PAYE, Corporate Tax, SSNIT)
    • Coordinate internal and external audits

    Budgeting & Financial Analysis

    • Support annual budgeting and financial forecasting processes
    • Conduct variance analysis (actual vs. forecast)
    • Provide periodic financial reports and insights to senior management
    • Monitor financial trends and recommend corrective actions

    Team Leadership & Coordination

    • Train, mentor, and supervise accounting staff
    • Collaborate with HR, procurement, and project teams
    • Strengthen internal control systems and compliance frameworks
    • Ensure proper documentation and record keeping

    Requirements & Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
    • Professional certification (ACCA, ICA Ghana, CIMA, or CPA) preferred
    • Minimum 5 years progressive accounting experience
    • At least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial position
    • Strong knowledge of Ghanaian tax laws and statutory compliance
    • Experience in audit coordination (internal and external)
    • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
    • Experience in real estate, construction, or property development is an advantage
