Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance and Administrative Officer to join our team. This dual-role position is critical to ensuring financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and smooth administrative operations across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong financial acumen, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Finance Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with company policies and national financial regulations.
- Prepare accurate financial statements, including profit & loss reports, balance sheets, and monthly summaries.
- Analyze, compile, and present financial data to management and key stakeholders.
- Perform audits, resolve discrepancies, and maintain reconciled general ledgers.
- Manage accounts payable and ensure timely vendor payments and contract compliance.
- Stay up to date with changes in accounting standards and financial regulations.
- Support statutory audits and assist in financial documentation and compliance.
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Manage daily office operations, including scheduling, correspondence, and filing (electronic and hard copy).
- Maintain office supplies inventory and oversee procurement processes.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and official documents for executives.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, meetings, and related logistics.
- Serve as a liaison between executives, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
- Ensure a safe, secure, and compliant work environment in line with health and safety regulations.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in finance, accounting, and office administration.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to multitask effectively.
- Ability to research, interpret, and apply regulatory and legal updates is an advantage.
