Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Quality Manager to oversee, maintain, and continuously improve quality assurance and food safety systems within our confectionery manufacturing facility.
This role is ideal for a hands-on quality leader with strong factory experience, deep knowledge of food safety standards, and a proven track record in managing audits, compliance, and quality teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS)
- Ensure full compliance with HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000 (BRC certification is a strong advantage)
- Lead and coordinate internal, external, and certification audits
- Oversee quality control processes across raw materials, production, and finished goods
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints, non-conformities, deviations, and CAPAs
- Monitor and improve food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices on the factory floor
- Lead, coach, and develop the Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams
- Work closely with Production, Supply Chain, and R&D to drive continuous improvement
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related discipline
- 7–10 years of experience in food manufacturing, with confectionery industry experience strongly preferred
- In-depth knowledge of food safety standards, regulatory requirements, and audit protocols
- Proven hands-on experience in a factory/manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and drive a strong food safety culture
