Drill Masters Africa Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy HRIS & Administration Officer with a strong HRIS background and excellent data accuracy skills. This role will support general HR administration, HR systems, reporting, and key HR processes across the organization.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with HR data, digital tools, and basic IT-related tasks while supporting multiple HR functions, including performance management and training coordination.
Key Responsibilities
As the HRIS & Administration Officer, your responsibilities will include:
HRIS & Data Management
- Maintain and update HRIS and employee master data, including personal details, position changes, contracts, and HR records.
- Manage and update employee leave data, balances, and support leave reporting and analysis.
- Support time, attendance, overtime, and HR-related data for accurate reporting.
- Generate HR reports such as headcount, attrition, leave, overtime, employee movements, and ad-hoc HR data.
HR Administration & Operations
- Support onboarding, offboarding, filing, and HR documentation processes.
- Assist with HR compliance, audit preparation, and HR coordination activities.
- Support other HR functions including recruitment administration, training coordination, and employee relations support.
HR Systems & Digital Support
- Provide basic technical HR support to the IT team (HR forms, system usage, troubleshooting user issues, and supporting digital HR processes).
- Support HR digitalization initiatives and workflow improvements.
Performance Management & Training Support
- Assist with performance management processes, including data collation, KPI tracking, documentation, and calibration support.
- Support Training and Development processes by coordinating training activities, identifying training needs from performance data, preparing training documents, and uploading post-training records.
Requirements & Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in HRIS, HR data administration, HR operations, or related HR roles.
- Strong Excel and data handling skills.
- Tech-savvy mindset with the ability to support digital tools and basic IT-related tasks.
- Strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills.
- High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to detail.
