Role Summary
Yamaha Music Innovations is seeking a highly motivated Supervisor to join its Nairobi-based team. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing team performance, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards. The Supervisor will play a key leadership role in fostering a productive work environment, maintaining operational excellence, and supporting cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate day-to-day operational activities
- Supervise, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve set goals
- Ensure project timelines, deliverables, and objectives are met
- Implement, monitor, and enforce company policies and procedures
- Track performance metrics and prepare operational reports
- Identify challenges and resolve issues to improve efficiency
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless workflows
- Maintain high standards of quality, professionalism, and accountability
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong team leadership and people management skills
- Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Experience with performance monitoring, reporting, and productivity optimization
- Ability to foster collaboration across diverse teams and departments
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field
- Previous supervisory or management experience is an advantage
