We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Business Development Lead to drive revenue growth, expand market reach, and build sustainable partnerships across Ghana. The ideal candidate is commercially savvy, highly motivated, and experienced in leading sales initiatives within fast-paced environments.
🚀 Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive business growth strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities locally and internationally to drive revenue and profitability.
- Represent the company at sales events, trade shows, roadshows, and networking forums to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations to promote company products and encourage adoption.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate a high-performing sales team.
- Lead the development and execution of go-to-market strategies to ensure timely product delivery and market penetration.
- Utilize and promote the AMAATI customer-centric platform for efficient order management and partner engagement.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and insights.
- Plan and execute market activation campaigns to drive product awareness and usage.
- Build, manage, and maintain strong long-term relationships with key stakeholders and business partners.
- Prepare persuasive business proposals and negotiate contract terms with clients and partners.
- Set, track, and monitor sales targets, providing regular forecasts and performance reports.
- Leverage social media and digital platforms to promote products and engage customers.
🎓 Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development, sales, or a similar role—preferably within FMCG, agribusiness, or food processing sectors.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Demonstrated experience in recruiting, leading, and managing a sales team.
- Strong background in stakeholder engagement, partnership development, and contract negotiation.
- Proficiency in digital sales platforms and CRM tools.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and networking skills.
